The Programs at Mona Montessori Brilliance Academy
Our programs follow the principles that have been shown to have marked effects on the successful intellectual development of our original Preschool Program. By using these same guidelines to implement positive environments for all ages of students, we can give your child a unique and interested outlook on life and learning. We combine our teachers, students, parents and community into an overall learning experience that can be one of the safest and most diverse educational environments available today. We inspire, in our students, creativity, exploration and social skills that will be valuable in the years to come, as well as fully preparing them for the integration of new technologies and world cultures.
Both our learning environment and our program offerings reflect the changing and dynamic world in which we live. This structure is intended to take the natural curiosity that is inherent in children and apply it positively to all aspects of our programs. Classroom environments are specifically designed to be exciting and vibrant environments in which your child has ample opportunities to search and discover new things. In addition to self exploration, we also aim to inspire cooperation between children to work together to gain new environmental understanding. These opportunities for social expression and creativity are made possible through the inclusion of light, sound and physical materials that the children can use in new and interesting ways to create new or manipulate existing experiences.
The classroom is not the only environment in which children are given an opportunity to learn at the Mona Montessori Brilliance Academy. Many of our class sessions and programs involve outdoor activities that can give the child a new and fresh understanding of the world in which they live. The state of Texas is full of rich culture and life and the children are given ample opportunity to discover it for themselves. As well as enjoying our outdoor environment at the Academy, faculty members specifically design field trips and community exploration projects to interact fully with learning sessions that occur in a classroom environment. These trips allow the children to take what they have learned in the classroom and apply it to real world lessons and experiences that will be utterly essential as they grow and learn new things.
